The so-called Grüngürtel, Frankfurt’s green belt, passes through the inner city like a blood vessel, bringing life through a generous 80 square kilometres of nature.

But why speak in numbers when you can explore for yourself by touring the green belt beneath high treetops and past refurbished old buildings. The city centre is completely enclosed by the green belt – discover the city along its blood vessel. Or explore the numerous parks that are often only a few blocks away from each other.
